When Visiting…
Where can I park?
There is a parking lot behind the church and behind the Co-Op building. Please park on the parking lot side of the red line between the church and Co-Op; parking from the red line to Grandin Road is Co-Op parking only.
How do I enter the church?
You may enter the church from the back entrance, closest to the parking lot. There is a portico and a “Office Entrance” sign. You will enter the Welcome Center.
Where are the Sunday School classes located?
A greeter will point you to the correct class. Our building can be slightly disorienting to a first-time visitor.
Location of the Sanctuary
Once you enter through the Welcome Center entrance, you may walk down the long hall. At the end of the hallway is a staircase. Downstairs is the fellowship hall, upstairs is the Sanctuary. Directional signs will also direct you there.
What is the worship service like?
We worship in a more traditional, yet meaningful manner. Our amazing accompanist begins with a prelude, followed by a welcome. We then sing 2-3 songs, which are a combination of hymns and praise choruses. We try to have special music each Sunday. The pastor preaches for about 20 minutes and uses a “fill-in-the-blank” sermon outline that is very effective for remembering and applying the sermon. Services last no more than one hour.
What do I wear?
Some of our members are more comfortable in dressier clothes such as dresses and suits. However, many members, especially younger ones, can be found with polo shirts, shirts with no ties, khaki pants and jeans. All we ask is that you are comfortable – we are here to worship and honor God, not focus on fashion.
